Class Policies – Short Courses

 

 

Class Policies

  1. Students will be utilizing their AQA LMS account provided via their registered email with their designated login credentials, where weekly PDFs and Class Recordings are provided. 
  2. Students must have access to Facebook Messenger, and they must follow the Facebook page and may send a friend request to AQA Staff FB account for direct assistance.
  3. Group chats will be created per course / level using Facebook Messenger. Concerns will be addressed here. 
  4. Only one Google Meet Link will be used per Phase (depending on the number of subjects). This Link will be used for the whole duration classes. There will be a separate Meet Link for Duroos al-Muhimmah for weekend batches.
  5. Duroos al-Muhimmah classes for ARW and ALBL students are merged sharing the same meeting link.
  6. Students must log-in to the meeting link using the Gmail email address registered during enrollment. Only such Gmail will be granted access for their live/synchronous classes.
  7. Students must have the ability and resource to use Google Meet on either their desktop/laptop/mobile device. Make sure to install the app before class.
  8. When signing up to Google Meet or logging in, students must log in with their FULL NAME, so that the teacher can recognize and register them.
  9. The manner of assignments, quizzes and exams depends on the teacher.
  10. 15 Minutes Allowance for Tardiness. 
  11. 24 Hour Notification for Planned Absences. For emergencies, notify via Group Chat. 
  12. Students are required to maintain good behavior during the class and leave off all items of disturbance and distraction.
  13. Turn OFF mic before entering the class.
  14. For better audio, the use of earphones/headphones is advised.
  15. Mute microphone during classes unless called to respond for recitation. 
  16. There is NO NEED TO TURN ON CAMERA for both male and female students, unless specific activities require it.
  17. Pin the teacher to keep the video on focus.
  18. The teacher has the right to remove any student who consistently fails to adhere to the etiquettes expected of him/her when seeking knowledge.
  19. Students are expected to review what they’ve learnt regularly and refer back to their teachers if they have questions. Teachers can be contacted on the allocated FB groups provided. 
  20. Students who availed the flexible payment of tuition fees must follow the schedule of payment to be provided by the admin.
