What is the reward of memorizing the Holy Qur’an?
Those who memorize the entire Qur’an stop at the last verse, indicating that they will be among the highest ranks of Jannah. Allah rewards those who memorize the Qur’an, act upon it, and respect it, and advance in Jannah with a degree equivalent to what is mentioned in the Qur’an Al-Kareem.
It will be said to the owner of the Qur’an after entering Paradise, “Read and ascend!” For every verse he recites, he raises his level (in Jannah) until the last verse is recited with him (that is, in his memory).
